"What I Feel"
(remixed & remastered)
What I Feel by Carpet Room (2001) is a bold yet vulnerable dive into the tension between desire and fear of rejection. The song’s lyrics weave between playful pick-up lines and raw, heartfelt confessions, flirting with both honesty and sensuality as one struggles to express true emotions. The music pulses with raw emotion and underlying sexuality, creating an intoxicating mix of urgency and hesitation. As the words dance between confidence and insecurity, What I Feel captures the thrill of attraction, the fear of vulnerability, and the electrifying push-and-pull of wanting to be seen, felt, and desired.
We Re-Carpeted The Room
Our 1999 album has been seriously upgraded!
25th Anniversary
(remixed & remastered)
Here’s the long story, short. Back in 1999, over a whirlwind two days in a San Jose studio, we laid down nine tracks on ADAT tapes. After going our separate ways in 2002, life took us on different paths until a chance reunion at a friend’s 50th birthday in 2023. That sparked each of us digging through our old ‘Carpet Room’ mementos. Adam struck gold in his garage—a tub marked ‘Carpet Room Stuff’ held our original ADATs! Inspired, we imagined these tracks re-engineered with today’s technology. Luckily, the tapes were in great shape. So we digitized them and collaborated with a mix engineer to breathe new life into our music. It’s been a long journey, but rediscovering and remixing this album 25 years later has been a heartwarming dive back into the magic of our early days together. We are excited for you to finally hear it.

We will only be emailing you when we have shows and release new music. Maybe there will be another reason, but we can’t think of one right now.
